Wro by Bike – Wrocław Urban Orientation Rally
with Nextbike Polska S.A., Werner Józef Grundamnn Wrocław Welodrome and Wrocław Bicycle Couriers
Sporty Sunday is ahead of us! The theme of this year’s edition of Fresh Design project is bicycle, and the best way to check out the functioning of a thing is to use it. Wro by Bike is a unique bicycle game starting at CRZ Krzywy Komin and finishing at Wrocław Velodrome.
People, who express their readiness, will arrive at 2pm to CRZ Krzywy Komin and will have an opportunity to sightseeing Wrocław in an unusual way and to learn about the most important architectural points. After rally, on the finish line, many attractions will be waiting for the participants. All the volunteers will be allowed to ride the cycling track. In addition, we encourage the youngest to take up the sport challenge and to face other kids in race. Prepared prizes are worth it! Those, who do not participate in the race may relieve the hunger sensation through snacks from Food Trucks, listen to music or take part in sporting events designed to keep you entertained!

Exhibition of the artistic achievements of the participants of the project
at the Faculty of Architecture of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology with the participation of special guests
On this day, the artistic achievements of the participants of “Fresh Design 2017” project will be presented in an exhibition at the Faculty of Architecture of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology. Young European designers will present their portfolios and discuss what inspired them to make such works. This will be an incredible opportunity to acquaint with existing approaches and directions in design.

Bike Movies Screenings
in collaboration with Bike Days Festival in CRZ Krzywy Komin
In order to feel the strong emotions, that accompany various types of cyclists, we invite you to the projection of movies at CRZ Krzywy Komin in cooperation with Bike Days Festival. On 18th May the audience will be able to see the following proposals on the big screen: ‘Tokyo to Osaka’, ‘Brussels Express’ and ‘Transsylvania’. Those movies are about cycling travelers and increasingly popular bike couriers, who ride houndred of miles to achieve their goals. Who would not be tempted?

Bikeability – Open Project Day
CRZ Krzywy Komin
Due to the fact, that Fresh Design workshops are limited to outsiders, we decided to “open” them only for one day! Despite the possibility of suspicion of the creative process of designers, at CRZ Krzywy Komin are planned workshops and lectures on bike modernization, cycling challenges, as well as ways to lead a healthy lifestyle. Guests will enjoy aromatic coffee, tasty food served by popular food trucks and numerous competitions with attractive prizes sponsored by our Partners. If you do not have any plans for this day, then you must book your time and mark that day at your calendar!

Workshop summarizing project defense of Fresh Design participants and Partners with special guests and debate
in the Centennial Hall as a part of the Lower Silesian Cycle Festival
This edition of Fresh Design is unique because it has its finale in the Centennial Hall as part of an event strongly related to cycling culture – the Lower Silesian Cycling Festival. The official closing of Fresh Design workshops is connected with defense of created projects and presentation to the Wrocław auditorium. After the debate, the observes will be able to talk to the designers and share their thoughts with them. The entire event will be in English. We hope, that despite possible language barriers, the projects will be meaningful enough to be understood by public.
